Joanne Williams received her MFA degree in painting from George Washington University and Corcoran Art School, Washington DC. Her work hangs in thousands of private collections, here and in Europe, the Far East and in South America. Her artwork is as much invisible as it is apparent to the eye. Figures gaze at sights unknown; landscapes dissolve into abstractions of shapes over imperceptible boundaries, and color, more vivid and surreal than sunset iridescence. Scenes composed at once of the mystical and the natural.
